Jane Turner Goldsmith

Jane Turner Goldsmith is an author and psychologist. She has worked in the fields of health, education, language teaching, counselling, psychology and creative writing and is currently undertaking a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide.

Jane's topic is The Essential Worker: Psychological First Aid and the Composite Novel. The novel is a collection of autonomous short stories about essential workers at the outset of the 2020 pandemic. It also features a linking character, a mature-age student reviving her 1970s Arts degree, and with whom the other characters' lives become entangled.

Jane has also published a novel, Poinciana, set in New Caledonia, with Wakefield Press in 2006 and shortlisted for a Commonwealth prize, a children's novel, an anthology of adoption stories and short fiction in a range of journals.
