Dr Anthea Vogl is an Associate Professor in law at the University of Technology Sydney. Her research addresses irregular and forced migration, with a particular focus on the social and legal categories of the refugee and irregular migrant. She holds a doctorate in law from the University of British Columbia and the University of Technology Sydney, and LLM from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts and Law with honours from the University of Sydney. She is admitted as a solicitor in NSW and has practiced in family, refugee and migration law.
